Cooking Classes
The workshops are styled to suit everyday
living and to build confidence in the kitchen. Lyndall
takes the mystery out of making food that you assume is difficult
to make. She is always amazed at the misconception that the
everyday foods that we consume are difficult to produce, whether
it is cheese, bread, tomato sauce, soup, pies or ice cream.
From savoury biscuits to go with your cheese
to our daily bread, making food from scratch is what we are
all about. Preservative free is the way to be!
Obviously cheesemaking is the most frequently
held workshop, and this is taught in a simple to understand
way. Other workshops that we hold are Sauces, Desserts, Winter
Warmers, Baking, Tapas and Quiches, Pies & Frittatas.
All workshops are held in a home style kitchen
environment, no fancy equipment is needed. All ingredients,
equipment and course notes are provided. All you need to bring
is yourself, and interest in food and of course, an appetite!
These are hands on workshops where everything
is prepared and cooked by the participants. Everyone will
enjoy complimentary morning tea, a workshop inspired
lunch with wine and gift bag to take home.
Workshops are limited to 6 students per
class for a more intimate learning environment. Each separate
workshop costs from $120 per person and runs from 10am - 4pm in
our Coffs Harbour kitchen. For workshop dates, please see
