I began working for Lyndall a year or so ago and was amazed at the simplicity of making cheese!
I love cheese, and even though I work with cheese, I still enjoy making it! My family loves their homemade yoghurt and of course, their weekly dose of Brie!

Food has always been a part of my life... I dream
food, it inspires me. There are so many tangents to food,
you can never stop learning about it.
My food journey started at a very young age. I became a vegetarian at 14, studied macrobiotics at 17, opened up a bulk health food shop with a couple of guys in Coffs Harbour NSW at 18and taught vegetarian cooking at night school in my 20’s.
After having children, a career and a few other distractions, it was time to settle back in to what I love most - food and sharing my acquired knowledge with people. I have had a little tertiary schooling along the way but basically, I'm just a cook!
Being vegetarian, cheese has always been a part of my diet, so making cheese at home was just a natural thing to do. I get so excited about the fact that you can make cheese at home with so little equipment, I just want to share with everyone how it is done! |

Hi, I’m
Susan, the Sydney side of the Cheesemaking Workshop.
I run regular workshops in Northbridge on Sydney’s lower
North Shore and other locations around the city. I also travel
to country areas teaching locals the art of Cheesemaking.
I'm just as passionate as Lyndall & Kellee when it
comes to cheese making
and travelling through regional NSW is an added bonus!
